In honor of the very special commemoration this year of the Passover, these thoughts were on my heart this morning –
Holy Father, may we rest in you for Your provision, just as it was necessary for the people of Israel to do at the Exodus. Because there’s no other way for us to get from where we are, to where we need to be, than to rest in you. To wait, trust, rely on You in full confidence, that You the High King, Lord of heaven and earth, the One who created all that we see, and who sees the end from the beginning – that you know exactly what needs to happen next, and you are able – you’re the only one who is able – to make it happen.
Lord, I don’t know – I don’t know what needs to happen next. But you know. So to You I give myself, totally into Your hands. Thy will be done Holy Father, on earth as it is in heaven.
