Venus/Saturn – summary chart of triples

This is a study of a pattern similar to that of the Bethlehem star, but based on Saturn rather than on Jupiter, in which it’s found that this too points to a significant point in human history. In the spreadsheet posted at https://snofriacus.wordpress.com/venus-saturn-examining-the-full-data/ are compiled the astronomical datapoints for all occurrences of this pattern between the years 5200 BC and 4200 AD. That’s a good place to look if you’re a researcher wanting to double-check and verify the details presented on these charts. But for those who just need to readily grasp the bottom-line conclusions, the results of this study are summarized here.

The basic pattern is the same as for the Bethlehem star, but just substituting Saturn for Jupiter everywhere – this time looking for a series of three Saturn/Regulus conjunctions, with the first one preceded by a Venus/Saturn conjunction, and the last one followed by a Venus/Saturn conjunction, all within a period of less than a year in length. The normal time between Venus/Saturn conjunctions is about 10 months – with an extra 4 months often being added in by a retrograde loop of Venus around the Sun, which extends the 10 months to about 14 months; the whole time span now being a little more than a year in length.

The series of three Saturn/Regulus conjunctions will also be referred to as a “triple Saturn/Regulus conjunction” – and when we look at all occurrences of these triple Saturn/Regulus conjunctions, we’ll find that the presence or absence of the 4-month retrograde loop of Venus subdivides them into two types – those which occur within a “long” 14-month span of Venus, and those which occur within a “short” 10-month span of Venus – with the long span being the more common, and the short span being the more special marking. The spreadsheet at https://snofriacus.wordpress.com/venus-saturn-examining-the-full-data/ is where each triple conjunction of Saturn with Regulus has been examined, to determine whether it occurs within the long or short span of Venus.

On this summary chart you’ll see the year (Julian/Gregorian year) in which each occurrence of the basic pattern begins – with those involving the long span of Venus highlighted in orange, and those involving the short span of Venus highlighted in green. The triple conjunction begins in the fall or late summer of the given year, and ends in the following year. In terms of the lunar year, which for the counting of months and determining whether a given year has 12 or 13 months, begins in the springtime in month 1, and for the counting of Sabbatical and Jubilee years begins in the fall in month 7 – these conjunctions are a good fit for the Sabbatical and Jubilee years, beginning in month 7. This is because the triple conjunctions begin near Rosh Hashanah, month 7 day 1, when this year begins, and end within the same year.

So, how near is “near”? Within a month of Rosh Hashanah. We’ll find that the most meaningful occurrences of these triple conjunctions all begin between month 6 day 1, and month 7 day 29 or 30. This information too is shown in the chart – the starting date of the triple conjunction in terms of month and day of the lunar calendar.

from “Saturn pattern5e.xlsx”

Scroll down until you see the first solid block of dates highlighted in orange and green, ranging from -5181 (5182 BC) to 4157 AD. Initially you’ll probably actually see only a few of these dates highlighted. To see all the highlighting, find the place near the top where it says “Start V/S span”, and then just below and to the left of this you’ll see a “5” with blue highlighting. The “5” is telling the spreadsheet what specifications to use in choosing which configurations to highlight. The blue highlighting is saying “This field is for user input – so feel free to edit here.” Change the “5” to “1”, and it will now show all of the highlighting – every year marked in orange or green. This block of dates, or table of years, follows a regular pattern. For all occurrences falling between the same black boundary lines, going left and right you’ll find them to be 59 years apart, and going up and down you’ll find them to be 972 years apart. And when you reach the right edge, the pattern wraps around back to the left edge.

Now scroll down until the next solid block is in view. This block shows the lunar calendar date – the month and day – on which each of the sets of three Saturn/Regulus conjunctions begins. It’s a shorthand form of the lunar calendar date, with the number before the decimal point specifying the month, and the number after the decimal point specifying the day of the month.

Now scroll down to the third solid block highlighted in orange and green. This block shows the lunar calendar month and day marked by a Venus/Saturn conjunction, beginning the span of Venus within which the three Saturn/Regulus conjunctions occur.

These lunar calendar dates aren’t so much for us to look at and examine, though we can do that if there’s a need for it. What they’re actually there for, is to guide the spreadsheet in determining for which years it should show the colored highlighting. Scroll back up to the first block, and where you typed “1” to make it show all of the highlighting, now type “4”. You’ll see a lot of the highlighting go away – and next to the place where you typed the “4”, you’ll see the specifications being used for this configuration, followed by the description – “30 green triples beginning in month 6 or 7, with 28 of these between -4003 and 3100”. What it’s highlighting for you is all the cases where the Saturn/Regulus conjunctions begin sometime between the beginning of month 6 and the beginning of month 8 – which is another way of saying, anytime in month 6 or 7. Then the starting date for the Venus/Saturn span is given as any time from month 4 day 11, to month 8 day 14. The purpose of this specification is just to refine the choice of what’s to be highlighted in the display, by eliminating unnecessary highlighting of cases which are shown by their orange highlighting to involve just the long span of Venus – thus being less specially marked as worthy of our attention. The orange-highlighted cases which do still display, are just those whose highlighting can’t be removed without also losing the highlighting of some of the green-highlighted cases whose triple conjunctions begin in month 6 or 7. So they are more closely related to the green-highlighted cases than those which are no longer highlighted, and we can see that there may be a pattern to this, somewhat like we found for Jupiter.

We do see some vertical boundary lines as with Jupiter, marking a transition from the long spans of Venus to the short spans of Venus. One more specification has been set up to let us focus in more fully on this orange-to-green transition. If we pay attention to cases in which the green triples begin in month 5 as well as 6 and 7, this shows us 3 more cases of this orange-to-green transition – so specification “3” has been set up to accomplish this. Go ahead and switch to specification “3”, and you’ll see the description – “the 42 green triples beginning in month 5, 6, or 7, with 37 of these between -4003 and 3100”.

At these transitions from the long to short spans of Venus, is there any co-occurrence at these points, of both the long and short spans of Venus in the same year, as we saw with Jupiter? Maybe. That can be investigated to see, and these points showing the long-to-short transition would be the places to look for this. We can allow more distant passes of Venus and Saturn to be counted as conjunctions, and see if any instances of third Venus/Saturn conjunctions appear in these years.

The spreadsheet has been set up with a total of 6 different sets of specifications, which can be explored by choosing numbers 1-6, and examining for each one how many green short-span cases there are, and for which years these occur. You can also directly edit the specifications yourself if you want to do further exploration. The other cells with blue highlighting are the place to make these edits. If you edit above this in the set of specifications that’s been selected for use – though it will work, this will overwrite the equations used for selecting which of the 6 options to display – so in any further exploration, the selection system will no longer be working. But if this happens, no need to worry. You can readily get them back by just refreshing the browser view of the spreadsheet.

This display gives no attention to the question of how close together Venus and Saturn or Saturn and Regulus come in their conjunctions. This level of detail can be found in the full spreadsheet at https://snofriacus.wordpress.com/venus-saturn-examining-the-full-data/.

Specification 6 is the one that points directly to the centerpiece of the pattern, to 33 AD, the year of Yeshua’s resurrection. Though a specification is provided here for the exact starting point of the associated Venus/Saturn span, on day 13 of month 6, the display will be almost the same without this detail. If we change “6.13 6.13” to the “show all” setting of “0 10”, we’ll get 33 AD as the only green-highlighted short-span occurrence, along with one long-span occurrence (in 357 AD). If we change this to the slightly more restrictive setting of “5 8”, requiring just that the Venus/Saturn span begin sometime in months 5-7 – then 33 AD is the only occurrence ever.

Now returning from specification 6 back to 1, showing all the highlighting again, let me explain the additional control parameters to the left of the blue-highlighted cell that we’ve been adjusting from 1-6. The first cell to the left is a year, with a default setting of -3502. The number to the left of that tells the spreadsheet to highlight that year and any year that’s a multiple of 700 years from it. It’s not highlighting anything except just the year -3502, because it’s actually the number 707 that has meaning here, for Saturn, and it’s for Jupiter that the number 700 becomes meaningful. Since I’d rather not have this highlighting just showing up without any understanding of what it’s for, by default these numbers 700 and 707 have been swapped between Jupiter and Saturn, to turn off most of the special highlighting. So to begin seeing the highlighting, change 700 to 707. What you’ll now see highlighted is showing us that the number 707 is built into the cycles of Saturn, giving us a triple conjunction of Saturn with Regulus every 707 years – with the 5 spans from the year -3502 to 33 AD carrying a special significance.

That special significance begins with an amazing sign in the sky that was seen in June of -3501, during the Saturn/Regulus triple which began in -3502. All the planets – every one of them, including the not-so-visible Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto[*] – were found congregated together in the same constellation – in the constellation Leo. Nothing like this had happened either before or since that time. It’s clear that God had a purpose in this – a message to deliver to the people on earth. And by means of the cycles of Jupiter and Saturn it becomes clear what this message was about. They were in bondage, the people on earth, ever since sin had entered the picture when they believed the enemy’s lie back in the garden. But from that year, 3503/3502 BC, five 700-year spans of Jupiter and five 707-year spans of Saturn would point forward to the coming of One who would deliver them from that bondage. For Jupiter the endpoint would be the year of His birth, in 3/2 BC. And for Saturn the endpoint would be the year of His victory over death, in 33 AD.

So – when exactly did this happen – this promise of His coming? 3502 BC? Why such an odd date – and what would have been going on then?

Well, it was a very long time ago that He delivered this promise. Over a thousand years before the flood of Noah’s time; back in a time when every one of the patriarchs including Adam himself was still living. The date actually wasn’t odd at all. It happened 501 years after the creation of Adam, and exactly 500 years after an event which will become more clear once we’ve examined the parallel pattern of Mars – the Venus/Mars/Regulus pattern of triple conjunctions. So, 500 years in, a message is delivered regarding something which is to happen after 7 more 500’s – or in terms of the cycles of Jupiter, 5 more 700’s – for a total of exactly 4000 years. We’ve heard of ancient prophetic texts talking about the thousand-year spans involved in earth’s history and timeline – and now we can see for ourselves that these weren’t just fabrications.

[*] 12/20/2022 correction – Pluto was actually not among the planets found in the constellation Leo at that time. In Stellarium we’ll see Pluto there. But the more reliable resource Solex shows it to be not at that time but about 10 months earlier near the beginning of that fall-to-fall year, that Pluto is found joining in with all the other planets – with all of them oriented as morning stars at the same time, just as had been seen 500 years earlier in 4003 BC.
