Getting my wings back

What a beautiful afternoon. Truly springtime in Dallas today. I had to get on my bicycle and try it out. First time since the accident last July. Everything smooth and functional. Sailing along in the breeze – not hot, not cold, but just right; it felt like I had my wings back. Just a short little stint for today, pedaling a 1 mile square surrounding the local neighborhood. But even my legs felt good, like they wanted more.

Love, you, Lord.
You are so awesome,
The way You’re able to turn evil inside out,
And use it for Your own good purposes.

Your goodness Oh Lord – so deep I can’t fathom,
I’m always amazed at the depth of your love.
The care that you show, as the path blooms before me,
And I feel the light of your smile.

The love that you show as we love one another,
The care that you show through the eyes of a friend,
They’re all glimpses of life as you meant us to live it,
Of life that is ours if only we’ll give it,
Glimpses of life as you meant us to live it,
The life that will fully be ours in the end.

Thank you Lord for the sunshine.
