Wings of the Dawn

Summer 1985
Psalm 37:23-24, Psalm 63:6-7, Psalm 139:7-12
The steps of a man are established by the Lord,
If the Lord delights in his way.
When he falls, he shall not be cast away,
‘Cause the Lord is the One who holds his hand.
Lord I meditate on Thee,
for Thou hast been my help,
And in the shadow of Thy wings I sing for joy!
If I take the wings of the dawn,
And if I dwell far across the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
Even there You’ll hold me in your hand.
If I say, “Surely by darkness I shall be overcome,
And the light around me will be night,”
Even the darkness is not dark to Thee,
And the night is as bright as the day.
Lord I meditate on Thee,
for Thou hast been my help,
And in the shadow of Thy wings I sing for joy!
If I take the wings of the dawn,
And if I dwell far across the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
Even there You’ll hold me in your hand.
If I take the wings of the dawn,
And if I dwell far across the sea,
Even there Your hand will lead me,
Even there You’ll hold me in your hand.
Even there Your hand will lead me,
Even there You’ll hold me in your hand.
