Return To Me

Aug 13, 1999
Isaiah 44
Long ago, I stretched out the heavens
I measured them out with my hand
With countless stars at my command
I spread out the heavens above
It was I who established the earth
And held the oceans in my hand
It was I who created all that you see
All that lives and breathes is mine
Pay attention, Oh Israel,
for you are still my servant
I, the Lord, have made you,
and I will not forget to help you
I have swept away your sins
like the morning mists
I have scattered your offenses
like the clouds
Sing oh heavens for the Lord has done
this wondrous thing
Shout oh earth,
break into joyful songs of praise
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free
Long ago, I stretched out the heavens
I measured them out with my hand
With countless stars at my command
I spread out the heavens above
It was I who established the earth
And held the oceans in my hand
It was I who created all that you see
All that lives and breathes is mine
Pay attention, my people,
for you are still my servants
I, the Lord, have made you,
and I will not forget to help you
I have swept away your sins
like the morning mists
I have scattered your offenses
like the clouds
Sing oh heavens for the Lord has done
this wondrous thing
Shout oh earth,
break into joyful songs of praise
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price
Oh return to me,
for I have paid the price to set you free
