Looking far into the distance;
Watching the cloud formations take shape,
As the leaves dance on the wind;
Reveling in the beauty of His creation;
Drinking deeply of His Spirit.
Sue: Did you write this?
Allan: Yes, this was inspired in part by my walk home a little while ago. I think it’s my favorite time of year. At first our weather went straight from too hot to too cold, but now we’re getting some of that perfect in-between weather.
Sue: Autumn is a time when we rejoice in the colors and textures of flowers and leaves that are finishing their tasks with grace. All the while we are remembering their start last Spring.
Allan: Finishing their tasks with grace – that’s a beautiful thought. May the Lord enable me to do the same 🙂
