Useful astronomical trivia:
For some perspective on what “one degree of separation” between stars and planets looks like, the separation between the stars of Orion’s belt is 1 degree and 22-23 minutes each. One degree is thus about 3/4 of the distance between these stars.

Talitha: Or it’s approximately the width of your finger when you hold your arm out in front of you! That’s what I’ve learned recently 🙂
