Here are two more sessions of an ongoing conference regarding the state of things in the Middle East. Some highlights:
Looking at Ephesians 2:8-22, and especially verse 14 –
He (Jesus) himself is our peace, who has made the two (Jew and Gentile) one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility.
We try so hard through our political processes to bring peace to the Middle East. But this is peace. You just watched, one by one, the story of Ephesians chapter 2 in these men’s lives. You can’t make this stuff up. These stories are written by Jesus. And you can’t do it any other way. This is the only hope that anyone has, and certainly the only hope that anyone in the Middle East has, for peace.
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem – salvation for the people of Jerusalem, both Jewish and Palestinian. Satan wants to provoke in us an attitude of judgement and hate and to rob us of any capacity to love those who have wronged us – while Jesus Christ wants us to do exactly the opposite.
